Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act is designed to protect clients from receiving unexpected medical bills. The purpose of the Good Faith Estimate provision of the No Surprises Act is to give clients an estimate of how much they’ll be charged for the healthcare services they’ll be receiving.
Any client who is uninsured—or who is insured but does not plan to use their insurance benefits to pay for therapy with us—is entitled to a Good Faith Estimate. A Good Faith Estimate is a document that estimates the out-of-pocket cost of therapy with our practice over an estimated course of treatment. If you wish to receive a Good Faith Estimate, please contact billing@marylandcenterforgenderandintimacy.com to request one.
